Custom Car Stereo

Custom Car Stereo was established in August of 1978 by three college friends in Charleston after leaving the University of South Carolina. From a very modest beginning, one partner bought out the other two and began a lifelong journey to become one of the best 12-volt stores in the nation. More than 30 years later improved and expanded into one of the largest mobile electronic stores anywhere. In recognition of that, in 2009 Custom Car Stereo was voted one of the top 100 stores in the country.

Located at 1217 Sam Rittenberg Blvd, Charleston, SC 29407, Custom Car Stereo operates as a window tinting serving Charleston in South Carolina. Auto detailing goes beyond a wash: a full detail typically includes clay bar decontamination, machine polishing to remove swirl marks, a sealant or wax, and a deep interior clean with shampooed carpets and conditioned leather. Detail shops price by vehicle size and condition, and a full interior and exterior detail takes most of a day. Ceramic coatings are a hardened liquid layer applied after paint correction that lasts years rather than weeks and makes washing easier; paint protection film (PPF, or clear bra) is a self-healing urethane wrap that stops rock chips on the hood, bumper and mirrors. Window tint shops apply dyed, carbon or ceramic film to cut heat and glare, subject to each state's visible light transmission limits.

Charleston is in South Carolina, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Charleston follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.
